I have tried using a soundcard, onboard audio, lowering and raising the khz playback of the microphones, trying multiple different drivers for both the soundcard and the onboard audio, utilizing kf2 tweaker (tweaked and default), ensuring that all my motherboard drivers and software are up to date from the manufacturer website, making sure microsoft direct x is updated and installed, installing updated drivers for all components (somewhere around 175 drivers), uninstalling potentially conflicting programs with iobit uninstaller such as discord and obs, running sfc/scannow, using the latest graphics card driver from nvidia, reinstalling steam and all of the games on it, ensuring windows is 100% up to date, going into processes and raising the priority of i/o, running repair's on multiple driver culprits to no avail, benchmarking my system to ensure there are no hardware weaknesses, enabling and disabling microphone features such as acoustic echo cancelleation and noise reduction and dcoffset, verifying integrety of kf2 files, changing gpu/cpu/i.o. This is the only game that I have this issue with, and from the looks of multiple steam threads it has been an issue since the launch of the game. That being said, yes the realtek audio drivers are up to date. Other information: Every single driver on my PC is up to date, I use a program to update all of my drivers as well as the motherboard software which will notify me when drivers need to be updated. Online/Offline: Happens online and offline This happens every single time I press the mic button. I have since noticed that every time I press the Mic button, I lag substaintially, dropping hundreds of frames, causing a massive stutter.
